The Intensive Driving Courses are provided by CARLTON DRIVING SCHOOL which is run by Principal Instructor Reid Speirs, and provides courses for Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas and villages including Keynsham, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Clutton, Whitchurch.

You will train in a dual control, air conditioned car (cars are new every year) and receive full supporting notes appropriate for your course and ability.

We normally utilise Bristol Area Test Centres for our intensive courses.

Reid is a fully qualified DSA approved instructor (ADI, Car) and follows DSA training guidelines, recommended syllabus and code of practice. He has many years experience teaching driving skills from novice to advanced level and has specialised in delivering intensive driving lessons for several years. Pass Plus, Motorway and Refresher training sessions are also available.

He personally teaches the intensive courses with a very relaxed and humorous style (well some say so!) and readily puts students at ease with his calm and professional coaching.

Having originally received advanced instruction with officers of Glasgow Police Driving School, Reid has also passed advanced driving tests with the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) and ROSPA Advanced Driving Association. He keeps up to date with the latest industry trends, DSA and regulatory requirements, and is regularly monitored by senior DSA examiners to help maintain the highest possible teaching standards.
